Your monthly questionnaire, along with the results from your Measurement Week, will be shared with your doctor. They will use this information to help review your treatment plan.
If you’re experiencing symptoms that cause pain, distress, or have led you to stop taking your medication, do not wait for a response to the questionnaire. Contact your doctor directly through the usual channels to report your symptoms.
If you progress to the next step in your medication plan, your medication may change, which could affect your medication schedule. Tapping “Update medication schedule” will update your reminders and notify your doctor that you have begun the next step.

If you do not record enough measurements during the Measurement Week (including the 7-day extension), your Measurement Week will be considered incomplete. However, your doctor can still review any data you have submitted and determine if any action is needed. You will remain on your current medication step until the following month unless your doctor recommends a change, in which case you will be notified through the app.
If no data is submitted, your doctor will be notified of the missed week and may reach out to you directly.

The OMRON Asthma Diary waits for communication with devices that support automatic data transfer. As part of a change to comply with Google policy, icons and messages are displayed in the status bar while waiting on Android 8.0 and later smartphones.
Even if this notification is visible, the app may not be in continuous communication.
This notification will also appear on any unregistered device that supports automatic data transfer.
OMRON Asthma Diary does not collect user location information; however, location services must be enabled, and the app must have permission to access location information on Android 6 and later devices due to Google policy.
How to enable location services: Go to Settings > Location on your Android device and turn on location services.
How to grant location permission: Navigate to Settings > Apps > OMRON Asthma Diary, select Permissions, and enable location access on the “App permissions” screen.
When you create an account, your data is stored on a cloud server. You can restore your backed-up data to a new device by signing into the account you created on that device.
